Staff Data Analyst translates data into insights and supports data-driven decisions in order to help the organization reach it's targets. Helps identifying missed and new opportunities, supports decision-making process, establishes best practices in the way data is used in his department. Staff Data Analyst achieves this through high business acumen, close relations with stakeholders and peers, relevant statistical methods including advanced techniques and top-notch data fluency.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Connect, explore and analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns and actionable insights. This involves utilizing statistical techniques and data mining methods to extract meaningful information from the data.
- Reporting and Visualization: Support your findings and recommendations with clear reports, dashboards and visualizations. Present complex topics in an easy-to-understand ways, fit to the needs of the audience.

Data Modeling and Forecasting: Develop and maintain statistical models for products or processes to forecast future business performance.- Leadership and Cooperation: Lead cross-department and cross-functional projects from definition to deployment. Be proactive in identification of business opportunities and proposing effective solutions.
- Innovation and Mentoring: Cultivate culture of innovation in the Data Analytics area. Be role model and go-to person for advanced analytical topics. Mentor less senior colleagues and improve the maturity of Data Analytics area.
- Tools and Technologies: Utilize various data analysis tools and technologies, such as SQL, Python, R, or data visualization tools, to manipulate and analyse data effectively. Stay up to date with emerging tools and technologies in the field of data analysis.
Technical/Professional qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in business economics, mathematics, statistics or a related field.
- Experience in business intelligence or data analytics, analysing data through statistical, quantitative modeling/forecasting methods.
- Expert SQL knowledge, experience with data visualisation tools (such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI...).
- Track record of generated actionable recommendations and impact on the organization
Personal/Leadership skills
- Effective communication of complex technical concepts and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with co-workers at all levels.
- Stakeholder management and prioritisation skills.
- Clear and concise communication, ability to simplify the complex and help all stakeholders understand important information.
- Critical thinking for 360 view on the task at hand
- Problem solving to tackle complex problems with just the right approach and innovation wherever necessary
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing and evolving environment. Comfortable with ambiguity.
