Your key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop accurate power nominations to relevant authorities and to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Help to test and develop trading strategies.
- Coordinate with power trading teams to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends to adapt scheduling practices accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, automation tools, and efficiency enhancements.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Japanese language skills
- At least one year of experience with JEPX
- Understanding of renewables
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- Strong knowledge of electricity market fundamentals, including market structure, pricing, and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
